Talk Crap to Darren Appleton Thread

I interpret this thread as some light ribbing or trash talking..much less harsh than Daz has been on himself.. and sometimes in the middle of a match. He's a great player...I'll be pulling for the USA in this short race exhibition...it is a good format for TV.

I will be watching the MC rooting for the USA. Daz and team europe are focused and successful. Team USA has great talent and I think Mark Wilson assembled a team with heart! I cant wait to watch it!
 
Darren is a great player no doubt, and he does play well in tourneys and exhibitions. I personally asked him last year, however, if he thought Shane was the best in the world and if he'd ever gamble with him again in rotation games and he didn't hesitate to answer "yes" to the first and "no" to the second.
 
Daz seems like a cool guy, even posts on here which is cool. He does get up and play for the cash some don't even do that.

Maybe his record of late in the usa has not been all that great in money games but at least he's gettin up there and playing.

Also losing to Danny Smith at 1pket must not be that bad as he just beat JJ, who is a killer at that game for the cheese.

WTF? How did this get so personal? I thought the thread was about good nature
fun. I've never bought anything from Renfro but find it quite reasonable that he
sells stuff on a site thats directed at Buying and Selling and pool in general.
As far as Magic racks, my own experience is that anything left on the table
while the balls are in motion can cause the slightest hiccup while the balls
are crossing it.
I've tried the real ones, fake ones and imo nothing beats a good wooden rack.
I actually liked the Sardo rack alot and was never sure why they got rid
of it?
 
congratulations Darren for a fantastic performance at the MC. beat SVB twice in the singles match.
