just got back from round 1 playoffs. we wound up in 15th place this session and just barely qualified for the mid level playoff bracket. we played our league operators team tonite and won . after the matches were over i asked our lo how much our pay outs are going to be this session. he said my team is already guaranteed 250.00 for finishing 15th this session. 1st place in the mid level playoff is 500.00. if we win the next 2 matches that totals 750.00. not bad for a team that finished 15th out of 20 teams.
1st place team at end of session is guaranteed 1200.00. if they win their playoff which is 1200.00 they will get a total of 2400.00.
you want to hear something crazy ? when i started dating my gf she was playing apa and i was playing tap. she got me to join her team and i got her to join my team. so here we are playing 2 nights a week. last session i joined another apa team and now im playing on 3 different teams and she just playing 1 apa and 1 tap team.
a few weeks ago i told her i wanted to quit tap and just play apa. she said ok we can quit ,said she was tired of not getting to play as much as the rest of the players on our team. i told her that our captain was a lot more serious about winning every week and that is was hard to match her up every week with her skill level, shes a 2. she played 10times in 20 weeks.shes all for quitting because. keep in mind now that i never told her about how ta tap pays out. owe play dj in apa and she plays both 8 and 9 ball darn near every week.
well tonite when she found out about how tap pays out she wants to quit apa. lol. dont worry i aint letting her quit apa. guess we will continue to play both lol.
