TAR 19 SVB vs. Mika on Android?

Has anyone ever tried to watch a TAR Match on an Android phone? The internet nazis at my work will probably fire me for streaming this over their bandwidth on a PC. But I have access to a few unsecured networks on my phone that could support me watching on my HTC EVO. I know it's probably a long shot, but I thought I should put it out there. I really don't want to miss much of this showdown.

So, does anyone know if it can be done?

Thanks,

Johnny

Not sure about the HTC but I asked Justin about being able to watch on the iphone and due to lack of flash player its a no go.....If you have a flash player on your phone I don't see any reason you wouldn't be able to watch.

Doesn't TAR use ustream for their broadcasts? If so, there is a ustream viewer app you can download for the droid.

Your HTC EVO should be running Froyo 2.2 which does have the adobe Flash Player. Your standard data connection should be fast enough to run the TAR. It won't look as pretty as possible as there is no app for their PPV system yet. However I think you will be able to get it going tonight pretty easily.

They just use ustream for the chat, not the PPV.

I have Froyo 2.2 which has Adobe Flash Player, so we will see at showtime if it is capable of viewing the PPV and how well it does.

oh and those of you with HTC Evo's... visit here for all your rooting, theming and rom needs... I love all the different roms you can put on your phone, and doing a nandroid backup allows you to restore to any rom/setup you have in less than 2 or 3 mins.
