TAR 32 - Day Two Updates

5-pack for Jayson.

Ronnie steps to the table a a skid on the first shot'

Jayson gifts it back with his first loose pos play in a while.

9-4 Shaw

The 20 mph break is getting the second ball in the side.

Cosmo for Ronnie.

9-5 Shaw

They've both figured the break speed.

Ronnie lost his cue ball and had to play safe and got away with it (I would have scratched)

Ronnie has another fortunate roll and jayson plays a bad return.

Tough rack to start, and Ronnie comes with a two tonner mid rack to get it to:

9-6 Shaw, Alcano to break.

Another great break, but dry!

Standard difficult 10-ball layout. Jayson relying on his great shotmaking but misses the thin deuce and hangs it but hooked.

Easy jump for Ronnie on the deuce and weak safe on the three.

Ronnie left with a long combo and he drains it. Tester on the three but Ronnie gets there.

9-7 Shaw with Ronnie breaking. Both guys playing like champs.

Ronnie breaks dry again. Hit it perfectly. He needs to change spots or hit hair harder.

Cosmo for Jayson but he's not making it look as easy as it should have been. World class nerves of steel shotmaking.

10-7 Jayson.

Jayson's break could lead to another 5-pack.

Not Jaysons best break. Plays a good safe on the one.

Ronnie makes a good hit and leaves tester. Jayson should play safe. He shoots instead and makes an impossible rack easy ( but wiped the doormat with the 7)

11-7 Jayson

Guys are playing at a high gear tonight.

Buy the PPV for the rest of this race to 27.

Peace out folks. (Jayson just pushed to nowhere)

Something odd just happened. Jayson is up 12-9 and was racking and just got a back stinger. I know that look.

Course he bangs five on the break but missed the first shot.

We'll watch his back and see if Jasyon survives or if his game tanks.

12-10 Shaw with Ronnie breaking .

Half time.

15-12 Jayson.

Ronnie is actually playing better but Jayson had a 5-pack and a few really nice rolls.

Jayson's break has been fantabulous while Ronnie has come up dry a lot
. If Jayson was playing just a touch better (and believe me he's playing very well), he'd be running away with this set.

This will be the hundredth time I say this.... when Jayson figures out how to play this game, he is the future of our sport. Right now, his tremendous potting is being highlighted by his odd pattern choices. I think he'll get there in a year.
