Hi Keith and JAM,

I have a question for each of you....

First, JAM...Hi I enjoy a lot of your posts...you have so much knowledge about the pool world....anyway, the question is...Didn't I read somewhere that you and Keith might be collaborating on a book about Keith's life history in pool?

Second, Keith...I am 58 years old and my memories of when I first started becoming a pool fan was back in the 60's when I heard names like Mosconi, Lassiter, Crane and then later, Sigel and Mizerak....In those days it seemed there were just a handful of top players in the world....these days it seems like there's so many that you can't keep up with all of them.....anyway, my question is...who are the best you have ever played/seen in your career up to today? My own personal favorites have been Lassiter, Hall, Strickland. Sigel, Reyes, and Rodney Morris....Thanks........Marvin from California

As far as having one of the best strokes I have ever seen, it was Cowboy Jimmy Moore. Great straight pool player, great one-pocket player, and a great 9-ball player, he played all games.

Eddie Kelly was another one, one of the prettiest strokes I ever saw.

The players that I've played against and respected the most are Buddy Hall, Earl Strickland, Mike Sigel, and Efren Reyes. Those four people, pound for pound, were probably the four toughest opponents that I've had to face in my era.

good to know ...

That's good to know because I think that Mike Sigel nowadays gets
shoved under the carpet when players are mentioned, and I think
he was and is a great player.

I wish he didn't quit so early in his career. I ran into him at the BCA in Vegas, he was selling his cues.
