Knowing that a bridge is called a "rest" in most other countries wherever snooker is played, helps you out in this matter.

Here's what you're looking for, and you'll see that you can buy a long version or a short version on this Amazon webpage:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Moon-Telescopic-Table-Snooker/dp/B007L08BEO

Canadian cue sport suppliers also almost certainly carrier these telescoping cross rests, involving a slightly lower shipping cost.

Btw, were I buying one of these, I'd remove the metal cross element and replace it with a hand-fabricated polycarbonate plastic cross, because any metal bridge or "rest" end will cumulatively dent your shaft eventually via low english sandwiching your playing shaft between the CB and the bridge/rest head on power draw strokes. Few pool and snooker players are aware of this.

It's possible that a random US cue sports supplier might be found for your convenience if you google further.

Hope all this helps you and any other interested folks.

i bought one for my g/f at our local pool hall.

it does a great job but i seldom use it as i prefer to shoot off handed most of the time.

Wow, knowing the keyword "rest" makes all the difference! Thank you!
