I play with the Purdman and he uses a golf ball telescoping retriever that compresses to a length equal to almost a jump cue. But extended out I believe he gets almost 6 feet or better. He uses this with a moose style bridge head that he slips on. The ball retrievers tend to go for about $15 each and made of aluminum.
Just providing another thought.

I also have a cue with the butt extension to boot. Tha retreiver breaks down to 16 in. You can probably pick one up at any golf store for about $19.

I will accept the generous offer.
Will gladly pay for the material or just pay for a couple of rounds of BREW!
Wonderful!Purdman said:GOOD, I just picked up another one called On Course. It is 24inches long and extends to 8 feet. I like it better than mine because you twist the sections and they lock in place. I will put a ferrule on it tonight.

Oh, it cost $14.95!!!!![]()
Purdman said:How did you make out? I went out to lunch Friday and stoped by the golf shop to see how I could make out. Here ya go. Took the cup off and stuck in a ferrule with tennon. $14.95 for an eight foot extension. 20 inches long with handle. The other one is the one I use without handle. My Instroke Buffalo case seems to have been made for it. LOL
