I wanted to try and get some feedback from people who own, have seen or played with these cues. Please let me know your thoughts.... whatever they may be.

Thanks,
Mark

I had Paul make me a cue a little while back. He was very courteous and
professional. His cue hit very nice, and his wait was not long at all. His
prices are more than reasonable compared to quality and playability. I
highly recommend him. I'm sorry I had to sell the cue, but I had to thin
out the arsenal. I hope this helps, and welcome to AZ. Please ask any
more questions. I'd be happy to answer.

Paul is a good friend of mine and I've seen him progress quite a bit since I first saw his work a few years ago. His cues hit and play very well in my opinion. He can make whatever you can come up with. He makes all styles of cues. He has really worked towards making a great full-splice w/veneers cue wich I think he has done very well. I personally like those the best since that's more my style, but that's beside the point. However, he does not buy blanks for his full-splice w/veneers or even his sneakies. He splices the woods himself in his shop and creates whatever wood choices desired.

If you haven't already, do a search for S&S Cues on AZ and see what has been in the for sale section as well as the Cue Review section. I post cues for him on here from time to time and he will have another cue or two to post soon. He is also a member on here under the SN, sonofthunder.

I hope you get all the information you need about Paul from AZ members that have had and tried his cues. Also, I would recommend calling him. He is great to talk to and will answer any questions you might have specifically for him. In case you decide to call, his number is 806-778-1957 and would be glad to speak with you. Also, if you have any specific questions, I'll be glad to answer anything I can and I also have pictures of his work if you would like to see more than what has been on AZ.

I took advantage of being in TX and made a trip to Paul's house so I was able to hit every cue he had while he took the time to explain his building process and helped me with a good fit but not trying to upsell. He took me through his shop and showed me cues in different stages of completion while we designed my cue. Once the choice was made he kept me updated on the progress with phone calls and pictures and assured me that if I wasn't happy with it then he wouldn't be either. I feel like I not only got a nice cue, but also made a good friend in the process. I still keep in touch and with any luck hope to have him build me a full-splice in the not so distant future.

Don't think you could go wrong choosing Paul to build your cue.

Feel free to PM me if you have other questions.

Mike

Wanted to add that Paul also donates a cue each month for raffle at the Fast Eddies Tour stops

Shouldn't this question/topic be in the Cue Review section?

This is the Wanted/For Sale forum...and I don't see anything in this topic about a cue wanted or for sale.

Dude, do you always gotta be jumping into peoples
threads to rock the boat? O.K. Technically he's in
the wrong section, but he's a newbie. Geez, how
bout wording it something like. "I know your new
here so you probably dont know any better, but
we like to keep this section for wanted and for
sale threads only. How bout using the cue/review
section next time" See, you wouldnt sound like
nealy as big an A-hole that way. This is just my
opinion here.
