what are the pool halls like there? I went there for a job interview but did not get to check out the pool scene there? any info would be appreciated.. also, I only play on 9' footers. Thanks

Don't know about Temple but there is a Click's Billiards in Waco. Ray Hansen runs a great monthly tourney at Click's (look under "Tournament Annoucements" on the forum home page). Call Ray as his number is listed on the tourney flyer and he will guide you. That might be a start and introduce you to a lot of the local players in that area.
Also, Fast Eddie's is building a new location in Waco. It should be open in late January or early February.
