Which one would do the job easier and/or better. The Taylor Machine or the Tweeten machine.

They both will cut a tenon, but the tenon is often not straight to the shaft or dead center. The Taylor machine will also cut the ferrule down. Neither one does the quality of a lathe, so if you have not alreay spent the $$ on those then save your dollars until you can get a lathe.

Thanks for the response. I think it will still be easier to give the work to my cue repair guy and let him do the job on his lathe. For the few ferrule repairs that come through my shop, it is not worth the investment, especially if the work would be sub-standard. Thanks
