Texas Holdem League

For the past 6 years I've been working towards opening a pool hall.
The tunnel has been a long one but I can see the light.

With luck there will be 3-4 pool leagues a week and at least one tournament. Also, dart league and the reason for this thread - Texas Holdem League.

Now comes my dilemma. After much internet searching so far it appears that the standard pool league, dart league, bowling league model of paying $X per night and then dividing it up at the end may not be legal.

Anyone in AZ-land familiar with an in house Poker league?
All input will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with running a poker league, but I do believe there is one in Romine's High Pockets in WI. While there for the BEF tournament I noticed signs for that and they had a dance floor pit with tables setup. Maybe they will share some info.

It really depends on what state this is in. I believe in MA as long as all the money is paid back and the house doesn't take any cut it is legal.
