Hello All.. I found a new club recently called The Break Room Near Cedar Creek Lake In 7 points Texas.. Admittedly when I first heard of this place I was skeptical.. I had heard a lot about their tournaments and how well they are run.. Well I ventured out Saturday Night to play their 9 ball tournament and I was pleasantly surprised to find a well run tournament with a lot of good players Including Al Mason and some of his crew.. I know not a lot of you are not going to know Al but he has been a Top hustler in Texas for as long as I have been playing the game.. The tournament was well run with a good Calcutta.. They have on site cue repair ( mainly tip ) And a very attentive staff including the tournament director who was on top of the tournament from start to finish.. All of the table are 7 ft bar tables except for one 9 ft Diamond quarter table.. All tables are well maintained with clean balls and a well maintained felt and table surface.. The rails are true as well as the leveling of the tables.. Now the reason this is the most impressive Is 7 points Texas is a hole in the wall town.. If you blink while driving down the road you might possible miss the whole town.. So it was exciting to find a place like this so close to home that really takes the time and care to run a decent hall.. They have league on Tuesdays and Wednesday and Masters league every other Sunday.. I also heard something about Free pool till 3 pm during the week But I am unsure on that so don't quot me..
