Thanks FL. I thoroughly enjoyed your postings of Willie Hoppe and comments regarding the greatest players ever. You make this forum interesting and entertaining and I would love to play pool with you any time. I respect your opinions on past champion players and it will be a sad day when we have no one left to share these stories with us.

That day is coming very soon. I am one of the last links to the players of the golden age, they are all gone and the last one left us last year. Few remain who saw them play and know how great they were. In 10 or 20 years all of those who can say they say Hoppe, Greenleaf and Mosconi play will be gone and we then must rely on what is written in books.

I will never be gone, as you can see, all you have to do is ask and I respond to you.

I hope we do get the chance to play a game soon, that would be nice.

I can only speak for myself but I thoroughly enjoy these types of posts from you! Whenever you engage in positive informative posts, they are a pleasure for me to read. This is the FL I want to read more of! Keep em coming.
