Great party!
A big "Thank you" to Kenny for opening up his home for us. Don't sell yourself short, Gian, you were a great co-host as well. (I saw you helping Eleanor Cantando with her coat and escorting the ladies to their car.)
Kenny's mom surely had a hand in the meal, but I know Kenny and Gian were working on it all afternoon. Kenny's dad cooked one of the dishes, too.
Oh, and who could forget Barry Szamboti showing up with frosted poundcake and pitzels (pixels, pitsels, pitzelles, pissels)? Whatever it was they were great!
Gian has a sweet collection of box cues. I arrived a little early and actually was able to hear about the nuances of each cue one at a time.
It was great to meet new friends, and catch up with a few old ones as well. Cyrex the case carver (so dubbed by Will Prout) was there with the Zinzola case and the Moaalii leather case from his avatar. Both cases were turning heads both at the party and the show.
Ms. Eleanor Cantando made the party and shared stories about Art Cantando the man in one room while Barry and Ken Kerner shared stories about Art Cantando the cuemaker as they knew him in another room. What an amazing life and talent this guy had.
This party alone would've made my trip worthwhile.
Thanks again,
~Beau
