as the title states i want to say thanks to pink lady and her son grey for their generous offer of a case which i will give to a lil boy i see at my fav pool hall often.

i also want to thank shawn armstrong for getting the ball rolling and making this possible in the 1st place.

shawn gave grey a case he had. and grey upon reading that i was intending to give a case i had here i was using to store cues i just can't seem to part with. he graciously offered to send me his old case i gratefully accepted their offer and sent them my address.

now i am gonna hit a friend of mine up for a good deal on a cue to go with it.

shawns thread got me to thinking about a lil boy around 6 or 7 years old i see at my pool hall just about every week.i don't know him or the old couple he comes in with. i have never spoken to them

i try not to judge any one but its kinda obvious they don't have much disposable income. it is obvious they love pool though. they all play off the wall.

thanks to shawns post getting me thinking about that lil boy and pink ladys son paying forward his gift from shawn this lil boy i see is gonna have his own case and cue.

As some may know, I kinda know Pink and Grey. :smile:

13 year old Grey's "haul" of pool items, is in part - historic. Items from Cups, US Opens, US Open 10 Ball... And then along came Shawn Armstrong.

Tomorrow he gets a signed new Scorpion cue.

At this rate, Grey can open a pool museum in a few years. He slept Easter night with Shawn's case, stuffed with his fave goodies and my home cooked ham .

Now if he could just learn back hand english...
