I wanted to thank Glenn for his advice on a couple of tools I bought and love. The Makita 9031 belt sander makes doing rail rubber a breeze. The Craftsman cutters make cutting featherstrips fast and clean. And finally the 5" scrapper useing regular utility knife blades make getting caked on old glue from bar box slate almost fun. I think this forum was long over due and enjoy reading it daily. I consider myself a good mechanic. But I know there is always more to learn. I am happy that there are GREAT mechanics like Glenn out there who don't mind passing on some good advice. Thanks again Glenn. See you in April or May!

Hey Pat, I will be purchasing the belt sander as well. Already have the scraper and the cutter's. Good thread because Glen is a great guy and deserves the props.

Thank you Jason, looking forward to meeting you shortly once I get back to the Diamond factory and spend a little time with them, I'll be coming up to see you. Then when I deliver a 9ft Diamond ProAm up to Baltimore, MD I'll be spending some time with Pat next...LOL
