I just want to say thanks to RandyG. I called him last night about 9pm just to answer a question about the rules. I caught him in the middle of traveling and I appoligize. Last night was the last night at league and everyone was fighting for posstion round, in other words it was due or die, so eveyrone was trying to win that trophy last night.
Anyway here was the problem. We play 8 ball on this league and play by BCA rules. My friend Robert shot at the 9ball and the 12 ball was already sitting in the pocket. The two balls went into the pocket at the same time and they both got stuck hanging off the table in the pocket. Now everyone didn't know what to do.
Randy told me the rule was to pocket both balls and keep shooting.
You ask how they could both get stuck in there, well the plastic bucket that is nailed to the rails of the table where what held the balls from going in. In otherwards they aren't the best tables in the world.
If one is off the table and one is still on the table then your supposed to pocket the one that is hanging and leave the other one on the table blocking the pocket. And the person gets to keep shooting.
Anyway, thanks so much Randy for your help last night. It wasn't my team, but it was a friend's team, and they were pretty upset cause they knew the rules, but nobody believed him.
Thanks so much Randy, and I hope you have a good trip.
