I appreciate the support on the Last 4 Ever Tip Tool... the 20% off for AZr's ends tonight at midnight.

The forum helped greatly in getting shape preferences and thanks to the input from a number of members, the tool was refined to it's current state. Special thanks to SeanC for his numerous inputs on design.

Look for ads in Billiards Digest beginning in October and Pool and Billiards beginning in November

I don't know what you are capable of producing or your profit margin, but you should not care if you ever make a direct sale; you want to wholesale. It is a big world with thousands, if not tens of thousands of billiard supplies. It doesn't take much to be a success if you do the math. You want them in as many pool room display cases and supple houses as you can. Ideas like yours are not as nickel/dime as one may think. It takes some effort though. I remember Wayne Dyer telling me how he actually put his books in the back of his station wagon and drove from book store to book store when he first started.

I appreciate the input. Right now I am trying to figure out how to make the business scalable. I like selling direct, both the contact with the people and the better margin and I can produce as many tools as I need to... production is not an issue.

I'm a bit hard headed in that I'll shut it down before I would farm out the manufacturing overseas... either I make them or I find someone in the U.S. to make them. Non-negotiable.

I agree that ultimately, getting the tool into the hands of the wholesale / retail supply chain makes sense it is just that their mark ups are extraordinary. I would have to sell my tools at below my raw materials cost to a wholesaler at my current costs and price point. But, I am continuing to explore other manufacturing options.

Thanks
