9 months til DCC '07 :D

LOL, I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. I love summer & hate winter.... as I was wishing the DCC to get here I thought how odd it was that I was wishing summer away before it even gets here. Anyone that knows me well, knows how much I enjoy summer and the fact that I'm already wishing the DCC to get here.... just goes to show you how psyched I am about it! ;)

FYI, details on the DCC raffle will be forthcoming this weekend. :)

I have said this many times that IMO, the DCC is the BEST tournament on the planet. Having been to some real great events in the last 23 yrs, plus I'm passing on one later in September just so I can have more cheese and time off from work for the DCC in January. The doctors have helped me a great deal with my back since my return from VF and it gives me hope I got a few 5-rail banks left in me for the One-Pocket event and a few "straight backs" in the bank tournament!!

I have re-dedicated myself to getting my massive frame in shape for this event starting a strict diet, a work out/practice routine for my days off. I aint saying I'm gonna win either event but I will leave my mark on Louisville!!

I gave up the King of the hill event in FL so that I could go to the DCC.... I don't regret it. I just regret not knowing about it sooner. :( That's what I get for taking so much time off from pool.

VooDoo, I wish you all the best in your quest to slim down & get healthy. I'm looking forward to seeing this new guy in Jan. ;)
 
I agree...

I guess I was spoiled by going to the DCC. It almost seems futile to plan any expensive trips to any other tournaments/ shows. 2004 was my favorite year. 2005 had some glitches with the restaurant and the hotel. Liked the availability of 9 foot tables but noticed less action with the bar tables across the street. Guess there has to be compromise. *sigh* People in my billiard parlor are already talking about the 2007 DCC and how long they want to go. I spend way too much money down there. Hopefully all the players that borrowed money from me will have me paid back by January. We will see.

I agree. When it comes to my vacation time at work... the DCC has first dibs and everything else will get whatever days I have left. ;)

WHY YES I do have something I want to raffle off..It is all boxed up and ready to mail to you Timberly. I hope others box up their donations and mail it off to you soon also!!
 
I am offering to donate college textbooks. All this derby city classic stuff is making me feel like I might miss out on DCC 07. I only got to attend one major tournament and DCC 06 was it.

I'll definitely get out there just maybe as soon as I'd like.:rolleyes:
