Just Another Question!

If you have alternates on a Team, Can you alternate players once the Tournament Starts? Like in between matches.

No.

You can only substitute before the beginning of each round. Standard BCA Round Robin Format.

Online registration will be open untill August 20th! You can sign up for singles and team event at www.wvstatepool.com
There will be a late fee of $10 for the singles and $25 for the team event for all entries after August 20th, All entries after this date must be paid at the event in cash. Hope to see you here!
 
We are looking for more teams to round out the size of the event. Please register your teams by Aug 20th.

Also, when entering your credit card information in PayPal, be sure to have your correct billing zip code or it will decline your card.

Remember this event there are no greens fee's. Tables will be open during the whole event.

i think if you ditched the team event next year, and started mini's and warm ups on thursday and all day friday, then start the 8 & 9 concurrently on friday night, allowing players to play in both, alternating between the both formats; you would get more players.

Thanks for your input. I would have to agree with you. There was also some other factors to consider as well. The APA Nationals in Vegas, plus TAP dumped their regional event on us at the same time.

We do remain optimistic though.

Rules?

What rules will be used for the 9 Ball/8 Ball events? Also if known, what will the rules be for the scotch doubles (coaching allowed?)

8-Ball is BCAPL rules. Standard Round Robin for the team event, and alternate break rack your own for the singles.

9-Ball is Modified Texas Express, No 3 Foul, 9 Does not count in bottom two corners. (we're playing on bar tables)

Scotch Doubles will be no coaching during turn. however you are alowed to discuss when not shooting.

Looking to wrap up entries this weekend.. Monday, Aug 20th is the absolute deadline. Walk-In's and Late Payments will incur a late charge.

Things kick off tonight at 7pm with a $25 9-ball warm up event. Doors open at 6pm. There are still spots open in the 8&9 ball singles as well as the team event. Any one signing up late mention you are an az member and I will waive late fees! Hope to see everyone here!
 
34 players in the 9 ball warm up tonight! Some notable names here are Ryan Mccreesh, Alex Olinger, Kevin West. 9ball singles start in the morning!
