The 36th annual Music City Open kicks off tonight.

This year, there will be 8 days of live coverage.

Mini tournament on Wednesday night.

9 Ball main event starts Thursday night finals on Sunday night

$500 entry Midnight Madness on Saturday night

New this year, One Pocket Monday - Wednesday

Just a heads up to anyone thinking of heading to JOB's, they have been smoke-free since last March, I believe. Although with that many years of smoking, and the same carpet, you can still catch a whiff of stale smoke. At least it's not like walking into a hazy fog though.

It is truly a neat old school pool hall. The wood carvings of the greats that have played there, the camel tour memorabilia, the pictures of many great action matches in the pit...it's worth a trip to visit. Besides, the way things are, you never know how long we will have it.

Unfortunately, the extremely severe winter weather and icy roads in the Nashville area have forced the cancellation of tonight's one-pocket event.
