there is a hustle in 8-ball that is as old as the hills, that, i never tried, and i don't believe i ever will. you tell your opponent, here's what i'll do: i'll give you the break, and no matter what happens, you could hand remove all of one suit, meaning, break, and no matter what happens, remove all the stripes, and you could be on the eight ball, meanwhile, i have to play solids, and i'll bet you $1000, i'll win every time.the other thing, is he must hand you ball in hand after he removes his balls of choice. here's the trick, if the break was nice, and all the balls are spread, it's easy for a good player to run all 8 balls because there are no obstacles, such as your opponents balls in the way !!!!!!!!!! however, if the break was not good and balls are together, the first shot should be to hit one of your open balls into one of your clusters and snooker him, after he can't hit the 8-ball you automatically win, or depending on the rules, you could now with ball in hand, run out!

Very old Hustle, Never tryed it but have heard of guys that have. I saw one guy lol that lost the bet 3 times straight! and quit and stormed out of the bar mad as hell!
