if i had to get rid of all my instructional videos and books, and only kept one, i would choose---------------------------- PLAY YOUR BEST POOL by phil capele, this book is so thorough, nothing comes close. yet, i feel his other works, well, i don't care for his nother books.

Yup, good book, but for me it was "The 99 Critical shots..." by Ray Martin.
 
99 critical shots, an excellent book, and so is the standard book of pool and billiards, however, play your best pool is so damn thourough! capele spent 3 months 15 hours a day 7 days a week on it, like a mad man!
