The best pool balls

Yes, all other upgraded Aramith tournament ball sets include the Measle ball except for the Tournament set that everyone wants the most, with the traditional colors. Makes absolutely no sense!
I agree 100%. That's my only gripe with the set. It should come with the Aramith Black measel imo. Either way for the mid 200's that is a steal even without the measel.

I was playing pool the other day at a pool hall. The pool balls they gave me were really nice. It made the game quite a bit easier. I usually play on a home table with very old balls. what kind of pool balls are the best. Thinking of purchasing some for my home table. Thanks.
@Mr. Joshua here in azb for sale forum got a used set of centennials for a good price.
If I was in the market , Id snatch them up quick.
Heres the link.....

I've never shot with the black measles ball. Do you prefer the appearance or can you see the spots better when it's spinning?
They play the same. Yes, of course you can see the ball spin better, but honestly, if I'm watching my shot as I should, the action on the ball is only visually interesting to the opponent or spectators IMHO. It can help when you are shooting for practice though.

Best Balls are perfectly Round, all Balls in set Weigh same, Balls are not tough to polish, and Numbers easy to read.

Cheap Amamith Set is better than fancy junk sets.

For me it's mostly just aesthetics as far as the black dots. I think it helps you notice if you are putting unnecessary English on shots which is more prevalent with the smaller diameter shafts these days. Also I know for sure that one is duramith.

It’s just too bad the best Aramith set of balls - the Aramith Tournament in traditional colors doesn’t come with the best Aramith cue ball - the Pro Cup Measle.
All the Tournament sets come with a Duramith CB. The Black cueball is different but not better, both are made from same stuff. The Black measel ball was meant to go only with the Black sets. Aramith decided to sell it as a stand-alone product. Not everyone likes the measel rock. I can take it or leave it.

While true you can't do much after the fact practicing it can be very telling. With these low 12's and 11 mm tips you got to be very precise in your stroke and tip placement.
Do you really watch the cb that closely? Reason i ask is i've played quite a bit with one and never found myself watching to gauge how much spin i'm getting. It was designed to help viewers/fans see spin while watching pool.

Yeah, so you spend another $45 on a cue ball. I guess at that price point you should have the option of the cue ball you want.
Ever buy a car? Its called the 'options list'. A 'basic' Porsche 911 these days is right at a 100grand. You can easily add another 50g's in options. Buy a set of D'sphere Bronze and add one of these cb's and you're all in at less than 175bux.

I'm not a fan of the Black Measle Ball. I don't care for how they integrated the logo; it looks like an after thought. I much prefer the Diamond Blue Measle Ball where the logo replaces one of the dots. Much better design, IMO.

I've read that the blue measles ball was designed for Smart Tables. What differences would make that so?

Smart Tables just have an optical sensor to identify a cue ball vs an object ball. Thus, these tables can be used with a regular cue ball. No need for an oversized or magnetic ball often seen on most all coin op tables.
