Funny thing is 10 years ago cues were making huge jumps, now it seems cases are making huge jumps.

Nice to see two case makers working together.

I will share this story about Andy Gilbert. He lived in the same town as me and I was in his shop one time and I talked to him about how he got started. He said he just "got started" and if he needed help or wanted to know how do something he would just get on the phone and talk to a cue maker and ask him how to do and they would just tell him.

I didn't believe it but he told me he called many different ones and they always answered his questions.

But reality is that this wasn't a cooperation between builders... Could have been but wasn't . I have my own ideas bout designs n construction.. I may be right or I may be wrong.. Time will tell.
Case was entirely designed by me.. The logos did come from John ... N I didn't even ask for them... He sent in his own good will... Which was a very nice gesture.
Client was in a triangle... Order the case to whom?? Well I got that part...

And I'm happy the client is happy too...n that's the story behind this...
If really like to collaborate more with fellow competitors... But nowadays it's dificult...

Absolutely true. The client contacted me first and I said I need to ask Jeanette which I did within minutes. Jeannete's reply came a week later and when I informed the client he told me he had already given the order to Roger since he didnt want to wait the time I quoted him and he said Roger said je would have it in a month. As it happened Roger and I were having a discussion at the exact same time so knowing that Jeanette was OK with it I offered the logos. Having done a few prototypes for Jeannette's former sponsor I had them already ready to use.

As for collaboration I have shared quite a bit with Roger. Some things he used and some he has not. I share with anyone with whom there is a conversation and a need to share.

This particular case was not done the way I would have done it but I think it is mostly very cool and more importantly is an example of fulfilling the client's wish which is what real custom case making is about. I am sure the customer is very pleased.

Id like to say that JB has a huge part in this... Even thow we are " enemies"... I don't agree with a few things here n there... But he did give me the logos for this case... The rest was just pure imagination

I am not your enemy Roger. I just don't like the way you have said several things publicly to me.
