i was watching one of my tapes of the 2002 World Championships, and i believe Jerry Forsyth made a comment that kinda has stuck with me. Jerry, i apologize if it was Syd Waddell, or someone else.
the comment was made during the Bustamante and Chin Chang Yang (sp?) semi-final match when Bustamante was running out, and getting really good rolls off of the break. Jerry said:

Bustamante was getting rolls, and running out. in the Finals match against Earl (won by Earl) the same situation did not apply if i recall correctly.
so, with that in mind, i went down to the Gold Crown, broke from the opposite side for awhile, got some decent rolls, ran some racks, felt a little better about the game. and yes, i did have a stretch of not having any chance at all, but i didnt get down on myself either.
just thought i would throw this out there, seems to be a pretty accurate statement. for some reason it just kind of hit home.
