the con that is the BCN

$30 is not bad when compared to the $900 + that the IPT wants for their tournament.
Thats thirty dollars to watch it live, once, streaming quality.

and thats 900 dollars to own the DVDs, watch them as much as you want, and have them DVD quality, plus it is every match in the entire tourney. Frankly, owning the DVDs is a much better option in my opinion.

30 dollars for a live stream is a great price though, dont get me wrong. But if I had 900 dollars in my pocket ready to spend on pool videos, I would buy the DVD set and not waste 30 dollars just to watch it live in medium quality.

All I know is that, in spite of the glitches initially (and I got as mad as everybody else), it was worth every penny and kept me from jumping off a bridge cause I couldn't go to the DCC this year. Any pool fan who wasn't entertained by the BCN coverage is pretty hard to please. I've missed watching since the tournement ended, and would gladly fork over another $29 to watch whatever they put on (look at the $40-$50 price tag for PPV boxing and the match might be over in 1 round!). Go BCN - the silent majority supports you all the way!
