The Curtain Part 2

Two things Stan. Some people won't believe you until you can do this with a hood over your head :-)

And you should get a light to be behind the camera and on you so that you're visible to the camera.

Great video. I am now going to go to all my CTE videos and put a big sign on them with a link to your channel and ask everyone to please just go to your channel and to contact you.

Amazing demonstration.

Thanks, JB!

Lol..Curtain demos are available at my teaching facility.

I like the light idea. Ever since I changed my light grids to the reflective type, my light is directed mostly straight down on my table.

JB, I sincerely appreciate your support.

I just watched your 28 ball run using Pro One along with the curtain videos. I remember Hal telling me when I visited him that you could shield the pockets and still make all the balls using his systems. You proved the man right.

Great videos, Stan. Thank you for sharing.

Can you list reasons on why and how an experienced pro1 users will miss using pro1, I think this will help some understand. I look forward to your third video in this series with you doing banks with the curtain.

Experienced PRO ONE players miss just as any other seasoned player might miss.

Aim is typically not a problem for an experienced PRO ONE player.

Consistent, objective alignment for a Pro One player results in a great routine shot after shot after shot. This never ends!

The 2 visual/motor movements to CCB are very definable and repeatable. CTE PRO ONE is extremely objective, visually and physically.

Having said that, it is possible to perceive visuals incorrectly or even make the wrong choice as an experienced player but the system continually refines itself and the mistakes in perception and physical movement become less and less over time.

Just as any player can miss a CP or a GB, a PRO ONE player can do the same by making a "visuals" error but because of objectivity the mistakes become fewer and fewer. Since the reasons for misses can be known, then it's quite easy to practice on the correct things.

PRO ONE players continually refine their aim to CCB. the primary target. Hitting the CB off center can result in misses or simply just not trusting CCB.

SPIN/SQUIRT is arguably the number cause for misses. Pro One players can stray from CCB but usually not for long because CCB and its objectivity connects with pockets.

Speed can lead to misses, especially the off-speed shots. Experienced players like a comfortable working speed that is repeatable. So, finesse and hard speed shots result in misses at times for all players.

Then there's a lack of concentration or focus that can lead to misses.

Off the cuff...that's a good start for why PRO ONE players can miss.

Thanks for your question!

The Curtain:,Part 3, Banks. COMING SOON.)

Mr. Stan,

Your post above regarding Squirt/Swerve goes to why I was coming here to ask the following question because along with them comes some SIT.

It appeared to me, but it could be an illusion, that you were hitting those shots with a bit of outside english from the middle of the table & a bit of inside when near the rail. Is that true? I actually hope you say yes, as I have been hitting off center for 46 years. If the adjustment from CTE Center Hit to allow for a bit of English is relatively easy, I am even more intrigued.

Do you have an ETA for the new DVD?

Best Regards,

We miss for all the normal reasons.
We make more balls because of Pro-One.

Finally, a definitive answer to a long standing debate! Thanks for that pearl of Pro One application.

Best,
Mike

Great video, as always, when you demo Pro1 like this it really looks like magic :)

I could watch these videos 24/7, if only you and others had time to make them that often.

Nice video Stan.
Just wondering if someone not only put a certain in front of you and on the sides where you couldnt see the rails just the flat surface. We you be able to pull off pocketing the balls if some one just told you the hit.(pro1 hits)

Dont have to do it i was just wondering if the table is some what helping in your success.

No, I'd still be fine. I think my pocketing would be very good with a curtain configuration as you described.

Now do you see how far people have to try and reach to discredit. This is a huge compliment to the system when someone has to become so unrealistic to try and prove a point.

I was thinking that we should blindfold him and lead him to a table of unknown size, say one of those 7.5ft tables you see in old bars some times. Have him ringed by curtains on three sides. Use old worn out balls. Give him a crooked house cue and Pioneer chalk. And put some pocket reducers on the pockets..

Then if he does not miss a ball we might begin to consider that pro one works..

Great video Stan. I think I learned some more regarding the sweeps, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

On right sweeps, you hold the more vertical closer to your chest.

On left sweeps, the cue is horizontal with the tip off to the left side of your body.
