Hi, everyone.

I have just finished my 1st article for my new column here on az. I was wondering if people have read it and just wanted some feedback for my next article.

What would people like me to write for my next article, all suggestions welcome and then i will do a poll on the top 3 suggestions.

Lee,

Great article! The stats say a lot for the outcome of the match. While not the total answer, your info points to a definite problem area for the Americans.

The link at the end of the article was omitted.

Best,
Mike

9 on spot..

Moving the rack forward, with the 9 on the spot, changes the whole dynamic. The balls will go completely different than putting the 1 on the spot.

Good article...

Thought it was very good. Clearly written, to the point, and showed the value of analytics in examining a potential hypothesis. If every column is at that standard, you accomplished something.

9 on the spot

The cut break looks entirely too easy with the 9 on the spot.

I think this would be a perfect topic for your next article:
- How to use the V grip with pictures. Could also be a nice promo opportunity for your forthcoming video!

Other suggestions:
- How to read a rack and strategy tips. After the break, do you see the whole run working forwards or backwards or combination? Or do you simply identify the key ball and then play three balls ahead? This kind of information is always interesting for players of all different levels of ability.
- Saftey strategies for 8 and 9 ball with a couple of good safety drills.
- How to recognize patterns with suggested drills.
- General position play strategies with drills.

I have a hard copy of your book and the ebook and will be purchasing the viedeo when it is available. Keep up the good work!

Great article Lee. Corey Duel was practicing the 10 ball break a lot at the Expo that is presently going on. It's not necessary to smash the rack, a good controlled break, seems to work well.

I'd like to also see an article on the V grip or grips in general. Getting on line consistently, and aiming would be helpful.

Just ordered your book.

Well Bollocks Bloke!!! Here I sat thinking there would be all this chuntering ago and instead the article was just brill....

I was quite chuffed with it all

I'd like to see some tips on combination shots. Besides the actual potting, I'd like to get some positional advice for the first ball in the different games.

For instance one pocket versus rotation games. Where the first ball goes is most important in a rotation game. Also, how speed/spin affect making balls.

Best,
Mike
