I love this match-up, it's great for pool and I am pulling for Earl.
Pro Pool at it's best :thumbup2:

I love pocket billiards.

Pocket billiards is simply one of the greatest games that there is.

So many of us simply play it for the love of the game.

Like so many of us, many of the Pros are amateurs at heart. They too are basically simply playing the game for the love of the game, while also trying to make a living.

Amateur is derived from the word amare, to love.

It basically takes a good person to love.

I think most of the Pros are good people.

I'm an Amateur & I love pocket billiards.

Best of Luck with 'The Decider'.

Best Regards & Best Wishes,
Rick

These are the things that are right with the pool world. Putting together a great match for everyone to enjoy. And topping it off with with giving this away is awesome. Props to you!!

Pool is something that has energized my competitive spirit again. I didn't start playing to a little later in life (49 when I started) so I'm having a great time trying to catch up with people that have played all their life. Pool is a great game on so many levels: strategic thinking mans game combined with the need to have the fundamentals sound. I appreciate you guys putting this on. As a recent furloughed gov employee I need to do things to spend less money so I'll be playing a lot more in my house and will be tuning in to to watch this great event. thanks again. Ed

Congrats out to Daniel. He's had one heck of a month and has done everything within his power to bring us some great streams. For someone who's pretty much donating his time, his efforts go unrewarded. Just saying thanks to a great streamer, a competitive player and a good friend. Job well done Daniel!

Still amazing to me to see the consistency of the top pro player combined with their ability to get creative when needed all while under pressure

Something positive?

After the hall closes, getting your gal in the corner pocket is twice as wetter than money won.

I appreciate everything that everyone does to promote pool, especially those that travel around and provide internet streaming for the fans.

pool

Pool is supposed to be a "gentlemans game". I'm hoping that both contestants are.
I play 6 leagues a week and at 69 years young I'm still enjoying and learning the game!

What's not good about Earl vs. Shane? Nothing...it's all good professional pool,

What's not good about Earl vs. Shane? Nothing...it's all good professional pool,

You just made a funny. The fireworks are @ to begin, Aug 2. Shane was faceplanting when he was playing (and beat) Earl yesterday or the day before. It's not IF, it's when shit goes haywire at the Decider. I hate it for Earl, I really wish pool had been kinder to him, him kinder to pool, and he still with his lovely ex. He's not a bad person. Just a jaded one via this massively difficult "industry".

my solice in times of stress: cracking balls

i was taught a long time ago, how to relate in a Man's World: pool.
but to earn respect, i had to impress (and vice-versa).

when my husband died 3.5 yrs ago (we knew Earl), i stopped shooting. but after 20 months/3 days of no sex....

it's great to be back & have my game-on.
it's cool to return to friends from my pool hall of many yrs.
and be more involved, than ever - i'll be @ Mosconi again this year & possibly @ Vegas in a week for the Match.

POOL NEVER CHANGES & IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US

Pool is an amazing game, you don't have opponent, there is only the table, balls and your ability.

I really enjoy watching Earl and Shane play against each other. There's good chemistry between the two that makes for good matches.

What's not to like?

It's always fun when you get a chance to see the pro's do their thing. They make the game look so damned easy, when its so damned difficult to play well for the rest of us mortals.

Pro pool is also different, (and more enjoyable, in my opinion) as its a game where the young guns are competing against veterans significantly older than them. And the older guys can still hang with'em, when everything is right. Seeing Earl as a legitimate contender in any tournament he enters is very cool. There are other examples, of course, but there aren't many other sports where the players can be so far apart, age-wise. Where the new faces of the sport are competing against historical figures in their sport, still viable. Very cool.

Thanks for the contest, Mark, and best of luck with the event!

It is a great thing that we all can watch some of the greatest players in the world play at their best while we are in the comfort of our own home. I am thankful that I learned how to play this game on this era of technology where it is so easy to learn the game in comparison with the players of old.

Props to all the guys out there getting together the events, those who play on it, those who go to watch, and especially those who make streaming it possible for everyone to watch at their convenience and immortalize players and matches!

I already have my ticket.. LOL

Pulling for Shane, he prob plays more in bar tables than Earl.
