So I was browsing Youtube looking for some good ol' classic Earl & Efren, and realized that I had seen most of the matches I was finding. That got me thinking that it might be a good idea to get them all into one place, so that anytime you get the itch to see these dynamic monsters battle, you can simply look it up in the forum and find a huge collection here.

These guys will always have the best matchups of any other duo, in my opinion. Such contrasting styles, they represent the cliches of American power 9 ball v Filipino finesse rotation.

Here is my #1 contribution to the thread, which is arguably the BEST challenge match in the history of pool, for not only the cash at stake, but for the incredibly high level of play, variety of shots, great close proximity handheld camerawork, and helpful commentary from Mark Wilson (who uses the word "tremendous" waay too many times!):

The HK challenge was great, still one of the best if not the best long race matchup.

The only thing with all the AccuStats YouTube matches is that they really should not be there. The guys from AccuStats said a few times that the uploaded matches were not from them and should not be floating around YouTube for free. Seeing how there are not actually that many of them out there I'm suprized they did not get them taken down yet.
 
I loved the 8ball race to 17 on Youtube at Steinway Billiards on the 10ft Brunswick. I love watching two masters at work, and Earl was pocketing balls like it was a bar table.
 
This is awesome, and per the guidance on the video I am going to paypal a donation to Alvin Nelson in the hopes he continues to do this great work. It really adds to the quality of my life to have access to videos like this.

Anyone really know why The Pearl wears all of that "stuff", gloves and such. And BTW, I am a fan of Earl, not trying to say anything bad.... Just askin'

he say that the weights on his arm helps him to stay down on the shot. as far as the gloves, he likes the "feel" holding the stick and sometimes will use a tennis wrap on the butt of his cue, again, likes the "feel". earl is my 2nd best player to watch and maybe top 3 of the commentators.
