Just finished watching Alcano beating Efren, and he played real well. Efren had his share of misses.
Souquet had a close one, but had a real good last break to mop up the rest of the table to continue in the last 16. (I want to see a closeup picture of Ralf's new cue, man, it is loaded with inlays).
A little disappointed by Manalo miss on that 7 ball, but really felt he was short on the shape to begin with. He used low right, and low left would have straightened up that 7 ball shot some. Then he would have been breaking, and would be right back in the match. He has a powerful stroke though, that stun follow on that 3 to get on the 4 was one for the books.
I am a Scottish sympathizer since that is my heritage, so I will be pulling for Pat Holtz tomorrow against Wu. He will have to bring his best 'A' game though.
