The BMPAP is, at this stage, just tying up loose ends then will open its first season.
Our project though is conceived with future global participation in mind. I'm sure that you'll eventually head this direction, global participation.
My opinion though is that we have a better chance of getting this Professional Team Pool concept come to reality here than you can there.
Why so? As in most businesses, location location location is important. And here in the Philippines we do have the fan base and proven corporate structure that recognize Pool as a good marketing vehicle. We also have "affordable" and willing television coverage. And all this in a land size no bigger than California.
What you're getting into is not a Pool Tournament. This is a Professional Team League so the parent structure is the League operator or your NPL. Don't get a title sponsor and make it the So-and-so NPL as that will cause you great difficulty in recruiting other sponsors. What you want are corporate teams that will compete against other corporate teams. You want team, aside from individual, rivalries formed. The drama from These rivalries is what will generate public interest and what can spell your success or failure.
