The Future Of Pool

Star Trek fans will already know that Chess is destined to go 3-dimensional in the 23rd century, but Pool is there already with this enterprising design from Zocker Toys. I'm sure by the end of 2005 we'll be seeing all major tournaments played on 9' versions of these with a Sardo built in and Earl will be there to complain they break too easy.

LOL, I like how they advertise "professional quality". But then again... These are probably just as good as the tables at the BCA nationals this past week.

LOL ^^^^^5's for that one.

You going to Sterling next weekend?

It will never make it. It only comes with 8 balls. Everyone will have to give Efren the 8 and the games will never happen.

BTW, why does it come with two cues AND two cue BALLS???

possibly, but as of right now, it doesn't look like it.

First break? What kind of entry fee/turnout do they have? Is it handicapped? I may stop by and donate

With the price of space travel plummeting, due to private enterprise (as oposed to spaceship Enterprise :) ), 3-D pool in zero gravity could have even more strategies than anyone could ever exploit. Unless lifespan increases enough for one individual to figure out all of the 3-D startegies, anyway.

Scotty, I need more power!

Personally I think One Demential pool is enough of a Challenge for most of us, but maybe I am incorrect? ;)

I saw him first! :D

Man, you must be a CHAMPION to be playing in this planet pool tournament with Mike Davis and Jerry Slivka and these other champions. You should spot me the 7 and the breaks and...I dunno...I can try you out. I've only been playing 2-3 years! I'm just learning - and now this CHAMPION wants to matchup. You should understand that I am SCARED and will need a big spot to prevent crawfishing.

PS is your name Steve by any chance? I may have seen you play. You should give me this spot and bet as much as you can!

Hey now! JR has yet to reel me in with a big spot...as a champion should spot a beginner like me.

i think his pockets may be deeper than yours JR

I have deep pockets, but this champion JR should catch me before I go off and empty them out on all these other planet pool champions - and end up working off my bill in the kitchen.
