The magic rack seems to make wing or 1 ball almost every time. And yes the balls do explode and seperate. It's going to make the game interesting, time will tell. Like to here some feed back.THANKS>>HANK<<

The ghost gets his/hers ass handed to it when I play with the magic rack. The best I have ever done against the ghost (race to 30 without magic rack) was 30-14. The ghost has a hard time getting over 10 when I use the magic rack. I usually run 3-4 packs or more multiple times racing to 30 without BIH.

Hank, if you'd like some additional feedback, might I recommend you click on:

search -> advanced search -> and enter "magic ball rack"

There's been a few good threads discussing this in great detail.

I just got the "new and improved MBR", the translucent - more durable one. I need to play with it a bit more to offer a more legitimate review.

So far, so good though. It is significantly less flimsy, surely more durable, seemingly the same thickness, and less noticeable on the table than the prior white version. You do need to be more careful removing it from a table in play, as it's increased tensile strength can more easily move balls it comes in contact with. But some people prefer to leave it on the table and not remove it.

Is the ghost really scared or is he upset that you purchased a device that seemingly guarantees a ball on the break even after he gives you break? It seems kind of boring to me to have a rack that allows you to predict dropping a ball.

I don't know, I guess it's just me.

That's the rap on this. People can look at it in different ways. Me? A rack is supposed to be tight, with every ball touching its neighbor(s) and perfectly symetrical. It levels the playing field in that it takes an element of possible BS off the table.

The players I've played with that have criticized it, have done so primarily from the standpoint that: because they know how to use and read conventional racking, they lose an advantage over others that haven't paid for this knowledge.

When these same players play against others that also can rack and read, they don't have the same disdain for using the MBR with them.

Hmmmmm....

Magic rack = if you don't break and run out you lose, then you lose more games after that cause your opponent will BnR.

Just makes proof that the game of 9 ball is a joke.

And yes im all for a nice tight rack.

My advice is play one pocket and quit trying to figure out how to make 9 ball easier.

One pocket is a great game, but face it, it's not for everybody all the time.

My advice - play a bunch of different games, but play more 10 ball instead of 9 ball. It's a truer test.

magic rack

Took them to the pool hall to get a feel on the 9ft.tables.It is tight and explodes with ease,Control the cue ball and you are out.Now there are guys out there that can rack them perfectly tight.[Donny Mills]and [Tony Crosby]and a few more and make the wing ball all day.I know lots of players who strugle to make a tight rack and get \cheated out of a good break. This equals our playing field. If my friends can break and run more racks it will only make the GAME lot's more fun for all.IT"S ONLY A GAME,most of us are not making a living at it.>>PS I left the racks at the pool hall to be enjoyed by others.ITS MAGIC--THANKS-- .HANK<<
