The good the bad and the surprising of the super billiards expo....

Suprising, I almost had my pass taken away by some pro arena NAZI who seemedto follow me around all weekend asking where I had been and how didI get there. I felt like i needed a bathroom pass.
Eventually I was stood watching Shane and Hennessey warm up and here he comes. givingall the people fromthe afternoon sessions wrist bands in the stands for the evening session/final. As he walks up to me I said 'Cool u r giving out the wrist bands. (remember I have bit my tongue this whole time with this guy and been nothing but nice and respectful) He says "Not to you" I asked why and he said "your here as a guest of a player" I agreed and he said you have to goto the ticket counter and show themyour credentials and then they will give you a ticket to prove to me that you can come in. I said I have the credentials right here. He said "no good, get a ticket" I said ok but it seems like a waste of everyones time since I'm right here and u know I can get a ticket that you don't even need" He then comes back with 'How about I just take your pass away altogether?" I asked "why?" he said because "you are now causing trouble" I told him to Relax and left the arena. I wanted to throw it in his face and tell him to stick the pass. However I did getit from a playerand I didn't want to embarrass both ofus by going off on him. Got to tell ya it still ERKS me inside thatI let he get away with being a dick.

I would have told him that I'm sorry about whatever happened in his life to make him this way.

wow

You must have been wearing a turban or something.Or he gets paid directly from ticket sales and sees you as a non paying customer.

good idea?

a pool legend lol? please he is the biggest soar losing cry baby i've ever seen. Would i play him even, not a chance, however, when i lose its a lot classier than how he does. Dennis hatch literally threw in the towel at shane, if anything it was a sign of respect. I watched the entire match, and he seemed upset at his play, but never sharked shane, like earl would have done. Like any pro sport, when people *****, and complain they should be fined, and or suspended that would be great if it were enforced in pool.

Yeah drive away one of the most entertaining people in the game!

Jerry,

We, the pool playing public, have been hearing about Earl and his antics for way too many years. Entertaining? Yes. But not in the way most other players and fans appreciate. He is one of the greatest of all pool players. Present or past. Yet, he continues to be singled out. Event after event for less than professional conduct. Perhaps you enjoy going to a hockey game to see a player bloodied. Or a football game when a player is injured. I look at Earl's antics in the same way. Some tell me thats one of the costs of playing at Earl's level. If that's the case, please explain why I've never read about Efren or Ralf doing anything close to Earl's outbursts. In the end, I'm sure we will have to just agree to disagree.
