And what is the basis for the prediction of how it will be in Reno (why the differences?).

Personally, I think the IPT would be far better off with Championship cloth for consistency of play. You are constantly thinking, 'Am I shooting soft enough?' with Simonis 860.

i agree, simonis 860 you feel the cue ball is trying to run away from you and hide, this is true, regarding the best cloth, championship is in my opinion the best fast cloth, but my favorite is the cloth that was used in the king of the hill which was Mali&Co. 2010 cloth, very even,not fast,nor slow.
now as far as reno is concerned, they have stated, the IPT officals, that the cloth that was used at the north american open will be left on, for many tournaments to come, so i gathered, that follow will decrease at reno, draw will become more accurate, and under control, and stun across will take more elbow grease, just because the cloth will have gone through the hours at vegas, now reno, the slide will slowly dissapear,so it should become like a bar table,without the beer,dirt and humidity,i hope.
