You two just made yourselves the laughing stock of this board.

Laughing stock...notice how everyone else said the same thing <sarcasm>! There may be men who can beat Allison Fisher, but when I judge a player as best, I look at the whole package. It is easy to say that the number one player is the "best"...that makes sense! ...but to say he/she is the best all around isn't fair. I admire Allison Fisher as the best because she dedicates soo much time to it, she's down to earth (how all the pool players I know are), she has an awesome stroke, and because she's a SHE. I work in a place where women are stereotyped. They don't get respect until they earn it. It's good to see that she has stuck out all the "look down noses" for something she loves. All of the women in construction here at my office...when get over the snickers, and dirty comments, they end up as more respected than the men!!

I guess we really just have to take it from the pros themselves. Efren, when asked whom he thought was his greatest competition in the sport, replied that there was a player on the women's tour that can beat him anytime. And I think he was referring to Allison Fisher. Wouldn't we all love to see that one!

Efren beat Jeanette Lee silly one time in Manila. Someone please organize this dream competition between Efren and Allison!!!

Efren playing Allison would not be much competition at all. Allison is a great
womens player but she can not compete against the likes of Efren and other top male players. Its not a knock on her its just the truth. I sincerely doubt Efren thinks that Allison is his biggest competition. If I were
gambling on who he really thought I would take 3 people and give the rest.
I believe he would say Bustamonte, Archer and Earl. Efren has a lot of respect for Bustamontes game and also for a local back in the Phillipines.
I cant remember the locals name but he is known and plays great.
I once had a phillipino stake horse tell me that Efren used to have a hard time beating Jose. I am not sure why but he said Efren used to tell them
that Jose "had his number". This was early 90's and late 80's. I think he is over that.
I would like to see Efren and Cliff in 1pocket or efren and Shannon play one hole. Thats a dream matchup for me.

The local's name must be Antonio Lining.
Shannon asked for 9-7 against Efren at the DCC.
Jose plays very well against Efren. He tries very hard b/c he feels he is a better player. Somehow Efren and Busta have never beaten him in a finals of a huge tournament. Then again Jose has been in too many finals the last few years. While Efren and Busta have won several tournaments.
Allison would be smart not to the 7-out against Efren.
