Well AZ'ers we had a real good turn out for the monthly 9-ball $1,000 added Barbox Open tournament.
48 players showed up & it was a race to 7 on the winners side & a race to 5 on the one loss side.

Here is how the top 8 finished out the day.

Denny Singletary ousted the hole field claiming the top seed.
Meanwhile Israel Hightower put out "The Gator" Scotty Townsend.
In the match that followed he was put out by one of our talented locals to take home 5th, Jeff Lavigne 4th.
Bruce Berone then put out Jeff L. with a hill hill match cinching 3rd.
Which led Bruce to face off against a former champion Jessie Middlebrooks for 2nd.
As it turned out Bruce's game was no match for Jessie's powerful break & quick precise play.
Jessie won 5 - 1 securing 2nd.
Then Jessie come into the final matchup against the young & talented Denny " The Dominator" Singletary.
When I left, Jessie had to beat Denny 2 races to 7.
Denny the Dominator took down Jessie.

How long does this tourney usually last? I live about 120 miles away just wondering if it would be best to get a room

This Sat. July 17th. is another Open 9-ball tournament @ The Hole Thang.
I will be there set up by 12:00pm.
Players should be there no later than 3pm.
Calcutta to follow about 4pm.
$25.00 entry includes green fees
Played on Valley bar box tables
Race to 7
Race to 5
Double elimination
