The jump!

OK,

SO, I have been talking with some of my friends about the use of the Jumper. For the record, I'm not a big fan of jump cues. I have heard a few of the commentators talk about the winning % of the player who takes out the jump cue first instead of kicking. I was surprised that the original jumper is the DOG in winning the game?....maybe I'm wrong?

I'm not so much looking to hammer jump cues, but I'm trying to see if anyone has % on who wins the game, or the set, when the jumper is used?

thanx for any comments...

I'm not sure that stats are ever kept on this, or that they would matter much.

My guess would be the following, which also shows why the stats could be skewed.

Those who can kick and jump will usually opt to kick. Those who can only kick will do so. Those who can jump but are lousy kickers will opt to jump. Those who can't jump or kick very well seem to want to try to jump for some unknown reason.
