Being young isn't everything....

This thread is interesting, but I don't think you HAVE to be YOUNG to chase your dreams.
I am a 40 y/o female, works full time, owns a home & a car, no kids, no husband (and no, i'm not ugly either..hehehe). I love my independent lifestyle and I LOVE pool. I've completed my first year playing semi-pro and I'll admit, it's NOT easy by any means.
But even though I didn't decide to follow a dream early, certainly doesn't mean it's lost because I'm not YOUNG anymore.
Being young does give you an advantage with having less responsibility, but in the pool world, you must become seasoned through losing and like everything, it takes time and patience, something youngsters don't have much of until they grow up some.

hahahahahaha....I wouldn't exactly call it robbing the cradle..but if I WERE 20, you'd be in a heap of trouble!

Are u still playing in the tour or uquit?I am trying hard to to figure who it was from cinci that played in the tour.i still can`t figure out.

Quit?! HA, no way, it's to much fun! I'm still playing, they want to have 2 more stops before the end of the season. We play once a month. All but one or two tournaments are qualifiers for the Pro Tournaments.
