Just did the famous X-drill stop shot. Started out making 2-3, missing a few, make 3-4, miss 4 or 5.
Stuck with it, ensured my stance was consistent, focused on timing. Still couldn't make more than a few in a row.
Fixed my elbow position ensuring behind my head, made 25 in a row, all of them stopping within 1 ball's distance from the object ball, most of them stopped with zero spin, zero movement of the cue ball.
I'd call that a successful drill session. Learned something that hopefully I can apply in the future, to ensure that every time at the table is as successful.
