The next generation

So my kids have discovered pool, and while my 7 and 4 year old are just getting used to hitting balls, my 10 year old has discovered that straight pool with Dad is kinda fun. She had a 7 ball run tonight, and put an 11 ball rack on me tonight, which was the first time she'd been able to outscore me on any rack.

The next generation of straight pool players is out there, and I'm happy to contribute. LOL

It sure is! Fun to see the oldest try to run balls and get excited over a well executed combination or cut shot.

I'm still learning the fundamentals of 14.1 continuous pool, so it's fun to learn together.

My dad and I shot a lot of pool together as I was growing up, but never 14.1 continuous pool. It was always 8 ball, until we switched to 9 ball in my teen years. It would have been fun to learn straight pool early.
