The Number of US Players, European players, and Asian players with an Established Fargo Rating of 700 or higher?

Edit: I will change US to all of North America. The number of players with an Established Fargo Rating of 700 or above in North America, and the same question for Europe, and Asia.

This is probably a question that nobody can answer, but I wonder how many US Players have a Fargo rating of 700 or higher.

I also wonder how many European players, and Asian players have a Fargo Rating of 700 or higher.

I would not be surprised if there were 20 Euro, and 20 Asian players Ranked above 700, for every Single US player that is Ranked above 700.

I would find it very interesting to learn the numbers of how many 700 or higher Established Fargo rated players the US has, vs players in Europe, and Asia.

Yeah this would be interesting. I have bought the app but the top 100 lists are limited to USA, World, Women and then some countries and states and you cannot really browse players outside these lists.

When looking at the number of players over 700 in a country, it is hard to separate the degree to which you are seeing the depth of high level pool and the degree to which you are seeing the depth of FargoRate's data collection. I tend to have an intuitive feeling where we are likely seeing nearly all the over-700 players, where we are seeing most, and where we are just scratching the surface. But you generally have no way of distinguishing.

As a baseline, consider that for areas where pool is moderately popular, one player over 700 per million people is a decent guess.

In the APP, you can filter by country (say choose FIN), click on the "include only established players" toggle at the bottom and then sort by rating highest to lowest. You will find 33 in FIN, which is already a lot considering there are fewer than 6 million people there. And then on top of that our information from FIN is pretty thin compared, say to SWE and NOR, and that 33 would be missing players like you, Mikko. With 163 games in the system you are not quite established. But your preliminary rating of 767 suggests you would be on that list if we had more play recorded.

The Fargo Rate app is free, and that would not help me with the question anyways. Like I said, I do not believe anyone would be able to answer the question anyways.
Sorry for the harshness and brevity of my response. I was referring to the paid app, much of what you were looking for, could be gleaned from that. I also have the free app, which is pretty bare bones. There are no leagues or tournaments, in my area, that report to Fargo.

I would guess your 20 to 1 ratio is way off. I live in a state with only three million, there are at least a dozen.

Seriously, what does having this info do for someone? This is really interesting? Someone must have had their 'boredom-meter' pegged. ;)

Okay, I was not aware that there is a Paid App. I would not mind paying, if it might show more stats then the Free Version. As someone else mentioned, I believe that it only shows the top 100 Fargo Players in the world. How about the top 5,000, for example, lol. And, where they Reside.

China would have 100s if not 1000s of 700+ if the app worked well there, and more tournament directors facilitated FR into their Tournaments
