No tricks, no gimmicks, just pure pool. It happens on Sunday, December 8th, 2013. This is "old-school 9-ball format":
- CALL-SHOT (flukes are re-spotted, opponent has option to give back turn)
- No 9-ball combos (re-spot, player may continue)
- WINNER BREAKS (no 9-breaks) RACK-YOUR-OWN
- BREAK from the SPOT, no side-rail-breaks (at cue-ball scratch potted balls are re-spotted opponent has option to give back turn)
- NO JUMPCUEs (jump with playing cue allowed)
The bar is settled with a wide variety of food and beverages. Free WiFi and free parking will be offered for your convenience. Prize-Fund is a 100% GUARANTEED !!
This is the other DCC, the Deurne City Classic in Netherlands.
Interestingly, Sjaak Kort will be giving away his 22-year-old Earl Strickland Cue-Tec cue to a lucky winner (through a raffle).
I got a kick out of this tournament poster of a European playing old-school pool wearing a shirt with the American stars and stripes. :grin-square:
Does anybody know who Sjaak Kort is? Here's the link ---> HERE
