Do any of you remember the "Pipe"? Do any of you still have one?

Nick,
New Iron Maiden cd just released, A Matter of Life and Death.

Anyway I was going thru some stuff and found the Pipe jump cue. I'm surprised no one has one.

Nick,
I just got back my Searing Kingwood Merry Widow cue, I bought the cue and never hit a ball with it.. so anyway this cue is probably the smoothest hitting cue I have ever shot with. I took it for a test drive last night and I ran the first two racks of 8 ball, the cue plays absolutely flawless. Force follow and draw shots are as smooth as silk. I think I have found my new playing cue. Later on.

I think the owner or the room I play in would kick me out for going anywhere near his tables with that.

This jump cue is 23" long and weighs 9.3 ozs. The tip is 17.75 mm. The cue will jump the cue ball over an object ball that is only a 1/4" from the cue ball with ease. I saw a guy jump the cue ball with only an 1/8" between the cue ball and object ball. The Pipe was outlawed because it jumped too good at real close distances, but it doesn't have the versatility of todays jump cues.. It doesn't hurt the cloth or table any more or less than a regular jump cue we use today. . Thought I would post the picture, I haven't seen one of these in over 10+ years.

I have one, and nothing has ever come close to jumping balls as well as that thing does.
