the real reason for the change from red label to blue label diamonds

From a players stand point I have noticed that the newer Blue Label Diamonds bank closer to angle in/angle out and the rail do not play as "springy".

This is purely a guess on my part but Im going to say they changed the sub rail mounting angle because the Red Label Diamonds tend to bank short and play "springy".

it seems the answer to my question got deleted from the rest of your post...

The answer wasn't deleted, it's been discussed here on AZB since October 2010....plenty of threads on it to search, use the search feature:thumbup:

how about the short answer
pretty please ?:)

I didn't change the nose height of the cushions, I changed the thickness of the sub-rails from 1 3/4" to 1 11/16" then changed the bevel the cushions mount on from 23.5 degrees to 24.5 degrees which in turn, picket the nose height back up to 1 29/64ths" so I eventually rotated the body of the cushions down so the were more inline behind the nose of the cushions, which in turn changed the speed and bank angles of the rails.
