This is the royal crown big dog Josey 13 yrs old unchalked
Thanks skins ;). Only took me. 6-1/2 yrs to track it down now I
Know y its 1/1. Will post better pics later. Tim if u don't mind
Explain how hard it is to do these inlays and have them hold up.
Shaft wood best I ever seen hits and plays like a magic wand ha

Joint and butt cap and I got. 2 Prada quialty no joke
My buddy Martin Bick got some of Pradas black lizard
Full backs and front a lizard back is not what u think not all
Big square scales its like center cut ring tail. Pretty much
What me tony and BB uses but scales in center not quite as
Big I got the best skin out whole batch. And got 2 all circle
Scale wraps. So I'm having best of. 2 put on royal grown and
2 best on dead nuts matching JB no inlays but same cue ivory joint
But cap same rings etc. And matching full joint caps of ebony
And ivory for both cues and shafts also having mr Keith match
Me. 2. 314'2 predators to it gone be my new playing cue till mr
Pat Finish's my beast so I'll be using this in us open if anyone
Wants to see it in person or my big ivory handle I'll have both.

Keith made this "Royal Tower" cue for me over 14 years ago. It was a design that he knew if could be pulled off without any issues would look great and still be functional... Ya know a little bling but the cue could be a main player and not just a show piece.. (ultra difficult to do the inlay work without any pieces cracking not only as Keith was machining them, preparing them for inly and inlaying them but all the way through the build process up till today... Include the fact that the finish as Dusty mentioned hasn't moved a smige in over 14 years, and that's all a testament to the highest level craftsmanship of Keith Josey who though known for his quality builds STILL is in my opinion THE most under rated cue maker of them all ).....

Well fast forward to today and it is in the hands of Dusty, by fate I might add ( I truly believe this cue was made for HIM and I was just holding on to her )...

Dusty, you were first class all the way in our conversations and I would recommend anyone not hesitate to deal with this young man... I'm hoping you will enjoy this cue for years to come... I told you she would play JAM UP! :)

Oh yeah Dusty, remember this cue was part of a pair of cues made at the same time.. The other is called the "Filigree" and I'm sure is missing her friend... LOL!
 
Oh yeah I almost forgot Dusty, That's a "Blue Book" cue....open up the third edition of a The Blue Book Of Cues and go to page 55 ( the color photos in the front of the book )... Well there ya go! :smile:
 
I'm surprised you didn't end up with the ivory handled Josey.

Like this one a lot though. Nice pick up.

Wanted since as skins just said say it in blue book. I been hunting
It ever since. Also the ivory handle set which my buddy bill has is more
Of all out show cue pretty heavy. Killer but heavy I like royal crown better
But that's just me and for those that know me for me not to pick the ivory
Handle ha is big deal.
