Henning is an excellent writer. Assuming it's anything like The Pro Book, you'll do fine.

What topics did he discuss in the pro book? Is it more on mental game like the dead stroke book?

It's a number of things. Yes, there's a lot about mental approach but there are also a lot of diagrammed shots, many of which are difficult to do.
