he mentioned in the comments that 4 racks were lost in the middle of the match b/c the stream was down.
 
Oh wow, the stream I watched had no commentary...
Much different with Bill and Ted's excellent adventure

Thanks, I hadn't scrolled down at all, so missed that. My stream went out at 6-6 and never got it back.:(
 
Beautifully clear in-progress recording on the part of genipool, and fine camera work on the part of the video producer's crew at the venue. A pleasure to watch.

Regarding Ko's luck I'm reminded of a Japanese sage's ancient comment that: "Luck is like a sweet rice ball flying into your mouth."

The video did not show from 6-5 to 8-8 about 5 racks
The key part not shown was Shane's best chance to run away when he broker Ko's serve to get ahead 8-6 . Then Ko broke Shane;s serve back and tied the score
